My journey from doubt to delight

The location is perfect! Serene yet close to Nishiki market, while the staff were helpful. Our room's view of the river was nothing short of amazing.

Though it was a short walk to Kiyomizu-dera, the trek to Kyoto Station took longer than hoped!

The room was huge, neat and complete with great views, a washing machine and good view. We were in a marvellous and super location within easy walking distance of an Eastern monastery.

An iron and ironing board, coffee/tea makers, and a multi-channel TV in the room, marvellous and good location.

The spacious apartment was fantastic, and we loved the calming stroll along the nearby river 😊 Only downside was hearing some noise at night from the street. A great stay!

The well-equipped kitchen made mealtime easy, and the staff's friendly service was a great bonus. Plus, the location is ideal, with numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance.

The walk to the metro was longer than expected, which can be inconvenient with young children.

Spacious enough for four, the apartment felt homely, complemented by a calming river view that was good for morning coffee. Helpful staff offered cooking spices and provided fresh towels seamlessly. On the downside, the walk to the metro was longer than expected, and occasional street noise at night might disturb light sleepers. Garbage disposal was self-service, which could be inconvenient during a longer stay.

Great wi-fi and luggage storage. Bed was super comfy. Some noise late at night.

Fantastic Stay with a Scenic View

The calming view was perfect for morning coffee. While we noticed a strange smell from the basin, it didn't detract from our time. A tip , consider checking for kitchen supplies!

Staying at riverview house kyoraku aparthotel was amazing! The beautiful apartment was super spacious and had a cozy tatami room. The location was perfect, with the river view and temples nearby. Especially alex and dani, were helpful.

spacious but slightly noisy

This place was so spacious. The beds were comfortable, and the very nice view. Staff, especially Vincent, was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed having a washer and dryer, rare for hotels. The city's river view added a tranquil touch to our mornings.

The noise from the street was sometimes distracting at night.

I was appalled by the lack of cleanliness. The dishes were filthy, and we had to rewash most of them. To add insult to injury, the balcony floor was broken, leading to safety concerns! The heating was largely ineffective, and I found myself shivering during my entire stay, even with a small space heater that barely produced warmth.

The room here was in great shape and really spacious. It had a fridge, kettle, and microwave; the views were absolutely gorgeous. the bed was cozy, and there was even a nice bathtub 🛁. the location was spot on, right by Ponto-cho.

The location was great, very close to the old town and city center; we even walked to the lake in just 10 minutes.

Really had a blast during our 3-night stay! the room was super nice and up-to-date, plus it had awesome views! 🌟
